I took these 5 lectures in the GGI winter school. The hottest topic in BSM is effective field theory these days. All I remember, in Riccardo’s lecture is his point of view of naturalness. In his logic, the custodial symmetries in a Lagrangian, if not violated, should predict the renormalization of couplings as a function of other couplings. It is the same logic as the t’ Hooft’s technical naturalness, but not everyone presents it this way.
